Статья посвящена деятельности Сычёвской публичной библиотеки в конце XIX века. Упоминается первая публичная библиотека в городе, учреждённая при Сычёвском городском училище известным библиографом Г.Н. Геннади в 1861 г. Приведены новые сведения о публичных библиотеках г. Сычёвки, опубликованные в «Смоленском вестнике» в 1890 и 1896 гг.

From the history of the Sychevskaya Public Library of the Smolensk province: followers of the beginnings of bibliographer G.N. Gennadi
The article is devoted to the activities of the Sychevskaya Public Library at the end of the XIX century. The first public library in the city is mentioned, established at the Sychevsky City School by the famous bibliographer G. N. Gennadi in 1861. New information about the public libraries of Sychevka, published in the Smolensk Bulletin in 1890 and 1896, is given.

БИБЛИОТЕЧНЫЕ И ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫЕ КАДРЫ: ПОДГОТОВКА, УПРАВЛЕНИЕ, РАЗВИТИЕ. КЛЮЕВ В.К. УЧЕБНИКИ КАК ОСНОВА ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНОЙ СРЕДЫ И СОДЕРЖАТЕЛЬНО-МЕТОДИЧЕСКОГО ОБЕСПЕЧЕНИЯ ОБУЧЕНИЯ В ОТРАСЛЕВОМ БАКАЛАВРИАТЕ
Рассматривается проблема подготовки учебника как основного средства трансляции базовых знаний по конкретной дисциплине. Определены ключевые функции, предложены и охарактеризованы элементы классической структурной схемы вузовского учебника. Охарактеризована необходимость подготовки и издания учебников нового поколения по направлению «Библиотечно-информационная деятельность». Предложены и выделены значимые характеристики профильных учебников, сформулированы универсальные требования к написанию и оформлению текста. Особое внимание уделено представлению завершённой серии учебников «Бакалавр библиотечно-информационной деятельности», которая была инициирована Учебно-методическим советом вузов России по библиотечно-информационному образованию в партнёрстве с издательством «Профессия» и отражает актуальные знания по основным базовым учебным дисциплинам.

Textbooks as the basis of the educational environment and the content and methodological support of training in the branch bachelor's degree
The problem of preparing a textbook as the main means of transmitting basic knowledge in a particular discipline is considered. The key functions are defined, the elements of the classical structural scheme of the university textbook are proposed and characterized. The article describes the need to prepare and publish textbooks of a new generation in the direction of "Library and information activities". Significant characteristics of specialized textbooks are proposed and highlighted, and universal requirements for writing and formatting of the text are formulated. Special attention is paid to the presentation of the completed series of textbooks "Bachelor of Library and Information Activities", which was initiated by the Educational and Methodological Council of Russian Universities for Library and Information Education in partnership with the publishing house "Profession" and reflects current knowledge in the main basic academic disciplines.

КНИЖНАЯ КУЛЬТУРА: ИСТОРИЯ И СОВРЕМЕННОСТЬ. ИСЕНГАЛИЕВА А.Г., ЖАРДЕМОВА М.Г., ДАВЛАТОВ С.Х. ИЗ ИСТОРИИ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ ИЗДАТЕЛЬСТВ И НАУЧНЫХ УЧРЕЖДЕНИЙ, ИЗДАВАВШИХ КНИГИ ПО ИСКУССТВУ В УЗБЕКИСТАНЕ
В статье рассматриваются вопросы организации издания книг по искусству в Узбекистане в период с 1959-1982 гг., деятельность издательств и научных учреждений, подготавливающих и издающих книги по искусству в республиках. Рассмотрено издание в Республике книг по всем видам искусства, исследований, посвященных истории и теории отдельных видов искусства, научных изданий искусствоведческой литературы. Анализируется тенденция качественного улучшения содержания и полиграфического оформления изданий книг, возрастающая роль искусства в жизни общества, актуальность проблем нравственного и эстетического воспитания, в решении которых важная роль принадлежит книгам по искусству. Определена необходимость специального изучения организации книгоиздательского дела по искусству, показывает взаимосвязи книгоиздания с развитием самого искусства и науки об искусстве – искусствознания.

From the history of publishing houses and scientific institutions that published books on art in Uzbekistan
The article deals with the organization of publishing books on art in Uzbekistan in the period from 1959-1982, the activities of publishing houses and scientific institutions that prepare and publish books on art in the republics. The publication in the Republic of books on all types of art, research on the history and theory of certain types of art, scientific publications of art history literature is considered. The article analyzes the trend of qualitative improvement of the content and printing design of book publications, the increasing role of art in the life of society, the relevance of the problems of moral and aesthetic education, in solving which an important role belongs to art books. The necessity of a special study of the organization of book publishing in the field of art is determined, it shows the relationship of book publishing with the development of art itself and the science of art-art history.

Статья посвящена изучению вопроса «Почему подростки читают фантастику?». В ней приведены результаты пилотного исследования мотивов чтения подростками книг фантастической тематики: анализ ответов подростков позволил выделить шесть основных мотивов, которые лежат в основе желания читать фантастику в подростковом возрасте.

On the question of motivation for reading fiction by modern russian teenagers
The article is devoted to the study of the question "Why do teenagers read fiction?" It presents the results of a pilot study of the motives of adolescents to read fiction books: an analysis of adolescents' responses made it possible to identify six main motives that underlie the desire to read fiction books in adolescence.

Рассматривается значение Отраслевого рубрикатора по сельскому хозяйству и продовольствию как одного из основных инструментов индексирования документов и поиска информации по проблематике АПК на примере защиты растений в базе данных «АГРОС». Приводятся основные характеристики и функции рубрикатора. Показаны примеры индексирования документов и поиска информации по защите растений с использованием рубрикатора.

Departmental Rubricator as an instrument of text indexing and information retrieval in regards to the Agro-Industrial Complex in the AGROS database
The significance of the Departmental Rubricator for Agriculture and Food is considered as one of the basic instruments of text indexing and information retrieval in regards to the Agro-Industrial Complex through plant protection in the AGROS database. The main characteristics and functions of the Rubricator are given. Examples of text indexing and information retrieval in plant protection using the Rubricator are shown.

В статье на основе сравнительного анализа комплектования Центральной научной сельскохозяйственной библиотеки в советский период и в современных условиях показано, как библиотека решает задачу обеспечения доступа ученых к иностранной литературе. Дан анализ зарубежных полнотекстовых электронных ресурсов и способ их получения. Сделан вывод о необходимости использования библиотечных методов обслуживания при работе с базами данных электронных ресурсов.

The features of providing scientific research with foreign information in a digital environment
The article shows how the library solves the problem of providing access to foreign literature for scientists based on a comparative analysis of the acquisition of the Central Scientific Agricultural Library in the Soviet period and in modern conditions. The analysis of foreign full-text e-resources and the method of obtaining them is given. It is concluded that it is necessary to use library service methods when working with databases of e-resources.

Статья посвящена работе Национальной библиотеки РС(Я) во время ограничительных мер, связанных с пандемией новой коронавирусной инфекции. В частности, подробно описана работа по библиографированию содержания краеведческих периодических изданий Якутии 1930–1970-х гг. Дана информация о целях и задачах составления росписи и указателей содержания периодических изданий республики. Подробно изложен ход реализации работы на примере таблиц, даны показатели о первых результатах проделанной работы. Сделана попытка обоснования актуальности и большой научно-практической значимости изучения периодических изданий для исследовательской работы, и в целом, для изучения истории Якутии.

Challenges of a difficult time. the work of the national library of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) in a pandemic conditions.
The article is dedicated to the work of the National Library of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) during restrictive measures related to the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. In particular, the bibliography work of 1930–1970 regional periodicals of Yakutia is described in details. Information is given on aims and tasks of compiling indices and a table of contents of the national periodicals. Detailed progress of work in the form of tables, indicators of the first work results are given. The effort is done to justify the relevance and the practical importance of studying periodicals for research work, generally, for studying the history of Yakutia.

Library services for children and youth in Russia and abroad: the search for modern approaches
The article is devoted to the systematization and generalization of knowledge in the field of library services in children's, public, school libraries in Russia and several foreign countries.
